Classic Homes of Maryland was named one of D.C. area's fastest growing companies of 2010 by SmartCEO Magazine. Accolades included the company's growth in both revenue and employees over a 3 year span. Classic's start can be traced back just 4 years to builders Dinesh Jain (President) and Prem Puri who now employ 15 to assist with the company's growing demands and clientele in the past 3 years. In Classic's first year they were producing 5 to 6 homes. Now with the resources of a company behind them and the ability to produce custom homes, 2010 closed with 22 completed single-family homes.

selected for The 2011 Potomac Country House Tour


Classic Homes of Maryland was chosen by the staff and members of the St. Francis Episcopal Church for their 56th Potomac Country House Tour. Always held on the first weekend of October, this tour has been a long standing fixture every fall since 1956 in the Potomac area. Classic Homes is honored to have been selected by the official committee to show their Luxury Windsor home in 2011!

An experienced Virginia builder now is offering custom and semi-custom homes at affordable prices to those who own land in the Baltimore region. Classic Homes of Maryland, a division of Classic Homes, has been building homes in Virginia since 1983 and in Montgomery County for the last three years. “Now we’re coming to Baltimore to open an office because of the volume of calls we’ve been getting,” says Amita Jain, co-owner and vice president of Classic Homes of Maryland.

2009 Habitat Hero

Classic Homes raised over $2500 for Habitat for Humanity at their fundraiser and open house on July 11, 2009 at the Jackson Family's “Extreme Makeover” built home in Poolesville, MD.

Classic Homes recently built a free home in five days for the Jackson Family on ABC's TV show "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" in June 2008. The event was not only a celebration of the one year anniversary of the build, but also an opportunity for Classic Homes, a local, community-focused Maryland builder, to raise awareness about the issue of homelessness and the struggles of low-income families, like the Jackson family of 15.
