An experienced Virginia builder now is offering custom and semi-custom homes at affordable prices to those who own land in the Baltimore region. Classic Homes of Maryland, a division of Classic Homes, has been building homes in Virginia since 1983 and in Montgomery County for the last three years. “Now we’re coming to Baltimore to open an office because of the volume of calls we’ve been getting,” says Amita Jain, co-owner and vice president of Classic Homes of Maryland.

Classic Homes of Maryland receives award from Habitat for Humanity Executive Director John Paukstis


2009 Habitat Hero

Classic Homes raised over $2500 for Habitat for Humanity at their fundraiser and open house on July 11, 2009 at the Jackson Family's “Extreme Makeover”  built home in Poolesville, MD.

Classic Homes recently built a free home in five days for the Jackson Family on ABC's TV show "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" in June 2008. The event was not only a celebration of the one year anniversary of the build, but also an opportunity for Classic Homes, a local, community-focused Maryland builder, to raise awareness about the issue of homelessness and the struggles of low-income families, like the Jackson family of 15.
